Job Title: Manufacturing Associate

Location: On Premise (Kansas - McPherson)
Department: Manufacturing Operations

What You Will Achieve:

In your role as a Manufacturing Associate, you will be responsible for applying your technical knowledge to perform various tasks, including the preparation, cleaning, and operation of manufacturing components, materials, and equipment. You will actively troubleshoot and monitor processes, perform quality checks, and maintain accurate records. Your work will help ensure the production of high-quality products, while supporting regulatory compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing/Operations Tasks:

    • Manage preparation, cleaning, and operation of components, materials, and equipment.

    • Perform quality checks and document processing steps for manufacturing/packaging/inspection equipment.

    • Maintain accurate batch records, check sheets, and logbooks.

    • Follow procedures for cleaning and sanitizing manufacturing areas.

    • Support regulatory compliance through participation in response development to regulatory inspection observations and corrective actions.

    • Communicate with peers and supervisors to ensure efficient drug production.

    • Participate in process simplification and suggest innovative ideas.

  • Team Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with various departments to achieve manufacturing goals.

    • Contribute to a positive team environment.

    • Promote a culture of safety and adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:

Must-Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

  • Minimum of 1 year of prior work experience in a pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or industrial environment.

  • Ability to make minor mechanical machine adjustments.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments.

  • Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions.

  • Proficiency in performing data entry.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Pharmaceutical production experience.

  • Self-motivated, independent problem-solver.


Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 10-20 lbs frequently and up to 45 lbs sporadically.

  • Ability to withstand exposure to inks, solvents, heat, steam, and liquids.

  • Must be able to stand and walk for 8-12 hours as required.

  • Vision must be correctable to 20/20.


Additional Work Requirements:

  • Must be able to work rotating shifts, holidays, nights, and weekends.

  • Ability to gown aseptically and maintain certification.


Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $18.25 to $30.42 per hour.

  • Additional Pay: Eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday, and other pay premiums.
