Job Title: Per-Diem Pharmacist – Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Schedule: Monday - Friday (varied hours, no weekends or major holidays)

Overview:
Nuvem’s Pharmacy Management Team is seeking a compassionate, patient-centric pharmacist to support the pharmacy operations in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Cincinnati, OH. As a per-diem pharmacist, you will have the unique opportunity to work in a retail pharmacy-type setting with a Monday to Friday schedule. You will manage pharmacy operations in collaboration with the pharmacy manager, engage with clinic providers, and contribute to patient care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and education to patients on their medications, ensuring patient safety and compliance.
  • Manage and lead pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, addressing knowledge gaps through training and education.
  • Oversee pharmacy operations, including ensuring regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, and financial profitability.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory and workflow, ensuring efficient and safe processes.
  • Engage with clinic providers and their teams to offer drug-related education and act as a member of the patient care team.
  • Attend clinical meetings and collaborate with healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, fraud, waste, and abuse regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal laws governing pharmacy practice.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or PharmD in Pharmacy from an accredited university.
  • Required licensing and certification as mandated by state and federal regulations.
  • 3 years of related pharmacy experience (preferred).
  • Previous retail pharmacy experience is a plus, with knowledge of 340B being beneficial but not required.
  • Excellent communication and patient service skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Fine motor skills required for repetitive tasks such as typing and handling medication.
  • Ability to effectively communicate through hearing, speaking, and writing.

Hours:

  • Various shifts, including Monday through Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Thursday 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, and Friday 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM).
  • No weekends or major holidays.
