ICON plc, a global leader in clinical research and healthcare intelligence, is hiring a Patient Recruitment Associate for its Accellacare team in Knoxville, TN. This hybrid, full-time role offers a 6-month contract with a strong potential for permanent conversion. Key Responsibilities
Screen potential participants using protocol-specific inclusion/exclusion criteria
Review and update patient information in the clinical trial management system
Schedule patient appointments with precision and attention to detail
Respond promptly to new patient leads within 24 hours
Match volunteers with suitable clinical studies
Communicate the value of research participation effectively
Maintain patient database and recruitment metrics
Collaborate with internal teams to meet recruitment targets
Ensure strict confidentiality and high-quality data entry
Deliver outstanding patient experience and follow-up
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, medical, or life sciences field
1–3 years of experience in customer service, marketing, or sales
Interest in clinical research and knowledge of medical terminology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable handling phone-based communication (inbound/outbound)
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to work onsite in Knoxville 3 days per week (hybrid model)
