Position Overview

The Operational Excellence Program Director – Manufacturing is responsible for developing and implementing program frameworks that support Telix’s Manufacturing Network Expansion Strategy.

Reporting to the VP, CDMO Network Development, this role will lead initiatives to ensure continuity, compliance, and operational efficiency as Telix expands its in-house manufacturing and CDMO network capabilities.

The position involves shaping and executing sustainable programs related to process optimization, technology transfer, quality systems, and adherence to regulatory standards (including 21 CFR 211, 212, and NRC requirements).


Key Accountabilities

1. Project Management Leadership & Strategy

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop, articulate, and implement program strategy, milestones, and objectives.

  • Create and maintain best practices in project management, ensuring consistency and alignment with Telix’s evolving business strategy.

2. Program Leadership & Execution

  • Conduct comprehensive gap analyses to identify critical needs in process, expertise, and infrastructure.

  • Develop and oversee strategic mitigation plans with internal and external partners.

  • Provide leadership and execution support for process development, technology transfer, and quality system implementation within manufacturing expansion programs.

3. Project Planning & Execution

  • Manage complex, cross-functional programs ensuring excellence in planning, execution, and reporting.

  • Deliverables include program scheduling, financial tracking, resource allocation, and risk management.

  • Lead efforts in scoping, prioritization, and delivery of strategic business objectives.

4. Operational Excellence

  • Lead transformation programs aimed at driving efficiency and improving business processes across the CDMO network.

  • Partner with internal leaders to ensure sustainability and scalability of new systems and procedures.

  • Recommend process improvements and operational best practices to enhance Telix’s manufacturing capabilities.

5. Portfolio Oversight

  • Work closely with the Director of PMO to develop governance models, portfolio-level reporting, and KPI dashboards.

  • Provide insights into financial drivers, milestones, and key performance indicators to guide decision-making.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality operations.

  • Proven experience in budget management, resource optimization, and cross-functional team leadership.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse global teams.
