Job Description:

As an Occupational Therapist at Lupin, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and individualized therapy to patients to help them achieve functional independence. This includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to enhance cognitive, physical, sensory, and emotional functioning.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assessment:

    • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' cognitive, physical, sensory, and emotional functioning, along with their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills.
  2. Goal Setting:

    • Work closely with patients and their families to set personalized rehabilitation goals based on assessment findings and patient priorities.
  3. Treatment Planning & Implementation:

    • Design and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on improving self-care skills, mobility, coordination, cognitive skills, and overall independence.
  4. Adaptive Techniques & Equipment:

    • Teach patients to use assistive devices, adaptive equipment, and adaptive techniques to promote independence and safety.
  5. Cognitive Rehabilitation:

    • Provide interventions for cognitive impairments, such as memory, attention, executive functioning, and perceptual deficits, using evidence-based techniques.
  6. Sensory Integration:

    • Address sensory processing difficulties and use sensory integration techniques to improve sensory responses and modulate stimuli.
  7. Psychosocial Support:

    • Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and their families to help them cope with the psychological challenges associated with neurological conditions.
  8. Education & Training:

    • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about neurological conditions and rehabilitation strategies to support ongoing progress after discharge.
  9. Collaboration & Multidisciplinary Teamwork:

    • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team, including physicians, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other professionals, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care.
  10. Outcome Evaluation:

    • Document patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize results and facilitate a smooth transition to community-based care.
