About the Role

IQVIA’s In-Home Clinical Solutions team is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to provide in-home diagnostic and clinical services.
This per diem position allows flexibility and independence while supporting patient care through specimen collection, EKGs, and other diagnostic screenings.

🕒 Flexible per diem schedule – no minimum monthly commitment
🚗 Travel-based role – local visits within your geographic area
💰 Paid hourly – includes both visit and travel time (2-hour minimum pay per appointment)
Mileage reimbursed at standard IRS rates


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-home blood specimen collection, labeling, handling, and transportation according to IQVIA and regulatory guidelines.

  • Conduct assigned diagnostic screenings, including electrocardiograms (EKGs) and macular edema exams (training provided).

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including vehicle and supply storage.

  • Manage and monitor clinical supply inventory to ensure readiness for patient visits.

  • Collaborate with IQVIA’s clinical coordination team to ensure timely and accurate submission of documentation.

  • Identify and report adverse events, product complaints, and patient issues per IQVIA and manufacturer procedures.

  • Maintain accurate time and mileage logs for reimbursement and compliance.


Position Details

  • Type: Per diem / field-based

  • Schedule: Flexible hours – work assigned based on availability and program demand

  • Compensation: Paid hourly (including travel time) – minimum of 2 hours per visit

  • Mileage: Reimbursed at current IRS standard rate


Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or field environment

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (equipment transport)

  • Willingness to travel up to 100 miles for patient visits

  • Fluent in spoken and written English

  • Must pass background check and drug screening post-offer

Preferred

  • 1+ year of EKG experience

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification

    • (Washington or Louisiana applicants require state-issued CMA or CPT license)

  • Strong interpersonal communication and patient care skills

  • Proficiency in medical equipment use and documentation practices


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Pay: $25.00 per hour
    (Actual pay may vary based on experience, qualifications, and location)

  • Additional compensation may include bonuses or incentives, plus eligibility for health and welfare benefits depending on assignment.
