About the Role

The In-Home Clinical Solutions team at IQVIA is seeking a qualified and motivated Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist (Per Diem) to provide in-home diagnostic and clinical services.

This role involves traveling to patient residences to conduct procedures such as phlebotomy, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and macular edema screenings, supporting treatment initiation and adherence programs.

This is a flexible, travel-based position — ideal for experienced phlebotomists seeking adaptable scheduling and patient-focused clinical work.


Position Highlights

  • 💼 Per Diem Role: Flexible hours, no minimum monthly commitment.

  • 🕒 Paid Time: Includes both appointment and travel time (minimum 2 hours paid per visit).

  • 🚗 Mileage Reimbursement: Paid at IRS-standard rate.

  • 🗺️ Travel Radius: Local travel within designated geographic area (up to ~100 miles).

  • 🧾 Scheduling Managed by IQVIA: You focus on care — IQVIA handles patient communication and visit coordination.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-home phlebotomy, including specimen collection, labeling, and delivery per IQVIA and regulatory standards.

  • Conduct additional clinical screenings (e.g., EKGs, macular edema exams) after required training.

  • Maintain and organize clinical equipment and supplies.

  • Monitor and restock medical inventory as needed.

  • Complete all required visit documentation, reports, and submissions promptly.

  • Communicate effectively with IQVIA’s clinical coordination team.

  • Identify and report adverse events, product complaints, or patient issues per policy.

  • Maintain accurate mileage and time logs for compliance and reimbursement.

  • Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety protocols and documentation standards.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience (clinical or field-based) — required.

  • Minimum 1 year of EKG experiencepreferred.

  • Certification:

    • CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or CPT (Certified Phlebotomy Technician) preferred.

    • State-specific requirement: Washington and Louisiana require a state-issued CMA/CPT license.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

  • Must pass background check and drug screening post-offer.

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs (equipment transport).

  • Willingness to travel up to 100 miles for patient visits.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-first approach.

  • Proficiency in documentation, technology use, and medical equipment operation.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English.


Compensation & Benefits

💰 Base Pay: $25.00 per hour
Includes paid travel and appointment time.
