Job Summary

The Medical Writer II (Funding e-Request) is responsible for:

  • Tracking and maintaining request management systems.

  • Managing the External Funding Database.

  • Performing QC checks on Investigator-Initiated Study (IIS) requests.

  • Processing requests and developing high-quality documents.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in MS Office applications.


Experience Required

  • 3–4 years of experience in the healthcare or life sciences domain.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update various client databases, learning platforms, and web-based applications.

  • Clean, verify, and process data for consistency and accuracy.

  • Provide input for project plan development and maintain resource tracking sheets.

  • Regularly communicate project updates to the team lead and assist in project management.

  • Review all deliverables for accuracy and compliance before client submission.

  • Identify potential risks to project delivery and propose resolution actions.

  • Support team members and ensure client requirements are fully understood.

  • Create and update work instructions as per the Request Management System.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Demonstrate alignment with Syneos Health’s vision, mission, and core values.


Candidate Profile

  • Education: Postgraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Life Sciences from a top-tier institution.

  • Background: Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare domain, enabling transition into other service lines post-project.

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
