Position Overview:

As an MVIS Manager – Health IT Liaison, you will work within Amgen’s Medical Value & Access team to improve brand coverage and patient access by collaborating with Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and leveraging Electronic Health Records (EHR) to support value-based initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and educate accounts on EHR use across multiple therapeutic areas using MAC-approved materials.

  • Manage prioritized accounts within your region and help develop tools, resources, and messaging.

  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams (MSLs, Medical Affairs, Commercial, IDN Strategy) to align strategies.

  • Train and support field teams (e.g., MSLs, KAMs) on MVIS Health IT Liaison programs and tools.

  • Use CRM systems for call scheduling and documentation.

  • Collect and share customer and EHR insights to inform internal strategic planning.

  • Help define future MVIS Health IT Liaison strategies aligned with brand and medical objectives.

  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives and support implementation science programs.

  • Travel requirement: 30–40% within the assigned territory.


Territory Coverage:

  • MI, OH, IN, IL, IA, KS, KY, MN, MO, OK, ND, SD, WI


Basic Qualifications:

One of the following:

  • Doctorate degree, or

  • Master’s degree + 3 years in Medical Capabilities, or

  • Bachelor’s degree + 5 years in Medical Capabilities


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in pharma/biotech or hospital systems

  • Familiarity with EHR systems and healthcare informatics

  • Understanding of IDN operations and decision-making processes

  • Interest in implementation science and population health

  • Strong business acumen, analytical and critical thinking skills
