Role Overview
The Clinical Research Medical Science Liaison (CR-MSL) will engage in high-impact discussions with investigators, providing valuable insights that accelerate clinical trials and advance the science in therapeutic areas of neurology and immunology. This role requires up to 80% field-based work and close collaboration with clinical research teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • External Environment and Customer Focus

    • Identify and engage top investigators and Thought Leaders (TL) in neurology and immunology.
    • Gather insights into current disease management and future scientific developments.
    • Support clinical trial activities and contribute valuable insights from trial sites.
    • Provide peer-to-peer scientific discussions with healthcare providers (HCPs) on ongoing clinical trials and drug pipelines.
    • Engage in scientific dialogue at scientific congresses and other relevant forums.
  • Support Clinical Trial Activities

    • Understand current clinical trials and the therapeutic landscape.
    • Conduct site visits and support patient recruitment efforts.
    • Provide recommendations on study and site feasibility.
    • Actively support CRO-sponsored studies and follow up on investigator submissions.
  • Medical Support

    • Act in an ethical and compliant manner at all times, adhering to BMS policies.
    • Support educational initiatives and provide medical/scientific updates to internal stakeholders.
    • Build partnerships with external stakeholders to support clinical trial designs and patient experiences.

Qualifications

  • MBBS, MD, BDS, or MDS required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical, scientific, or clinical research environment.
  • Proven ability to present scientific data effectively to HCPs.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with TLs and HCPs.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of workdays.

Experience and Knowledge

  • In-depth knowledge of clinical trial design and processes.
  • Ability to translate scientific data into valuable insights for physicians.
  • Understanding of disease areas in neurology and immunology.
  • Knowledge of clinical research, healthcare access, and outcome research is beneficial.
