Job Summary

IQVIA is hiring a Cardiometabolic Medical Science and Outcomes Liaison (MSOL) to lead scientific exchange across cardiovascular and diabetes therapeutic areas. This field-based expert will build credible relationships with KOLs, payors, and healthcare stakeholders in the Los Angeles region. A strategic opportunity for experienced medical affairs professionals to impact formulary access and shape healthcare outcomes for cardiometabolic therapies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate scientific relationships with KOLs, payors, IDNs, and ACOs

  • Present clinical and health economics data to P&T Committees and C-suite executives

  • Lead engagements around CV/metabolic portfolios with national and regional stakeholders

  • Provide scientific support at advisory boards, medical booths, and conferences

  • Develop and deliver payer engagement plans in collaboration with field teams

  • Respond to HCP medical inquiries with timely, accurate scientific data

  • Capture field interactions and insights in CRM

  • Assist in strategic medical affairs planning and execution


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Advanced degree: MD, PhD, DNP, or PharmD

  • Minimum 5 years of field medical experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience in Diabetes, Endocrinology, or Cardiovascular therapeutic areas

  • Strong knowledge of clinical research, medical communications, and payer science

  • Prior experience with health outcomes and data presentation to payors preferred

  • Skilled in relationship-building with medical and pharmacy decision-makers

  • Familiarity with PhRMA, OIG, and compliant medical communication standards

  • Excellent verbal, written, and formal presentation skills

  • Independent, strategic, and collaborative team player

  • Willingness to travel 40–60%
