Job Description: Medical Reviewer - REMOTE

Overview:

We are a remote-first organization, so you can work from anywhere in India. Travel to our Mumbai office may be required based on business needs or for company/team events.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate Client Material:

    • Assess manuscripts, posters, slide decks, educational material, and medical literature provided by clients for data accuracy.
    • Verify documents developed by medical writers against annotated references, Clinical Study Reports (CSRs), and other source data.
    • Identify discrepancies within text, figures/tables, and supplementary material, making suggestions for improvements.
    • Ensure all sources are present and that there are no gaps in scientific logic.
    • Check grammar, syntax, style, and compliance with style guides, regulatory guidelines, and publishing requirements.
    • Ensure document/project quality through thorough fact-checking and quality control (QC).
  • Communication and Reporting:

    • Effectively communicate QC/fact check findings to clients and medical writers.
    • Deliver QC reports to stakeholders and identify quality trends.
    • Ensure timely delivery of documents.
    • Proactively communicate with team members, authors/faculty, clients, and vendors.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Attend workshops, seminars, and trainings to hone skills and contribute to organizational development.

Qualifications and Prerequisites:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the medical writing industry. Freshers with substantial knowledge of the publication landscape or clinical research are also eligible.
  • Master's degree in Research or equivalent industry experience.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently, multitask, and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a zero-tolerance approach to errors.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing project priorities and work assignments.
  • Experience with Veeva Vault is a plus.
