Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Officer – Medical Imaging to support clinical trial imaging, data management, and quality review processes. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in optometry or clinical imaging and be capable of supporting image acquisition, review, and data reconciliation in late-phase clinical trials.

This role is critical for ensuring accurate, high-quality imaging data that supports regulatory submissions and clinical study integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and manage clinical trial imaging data in electronic data capture systems.

  • Conduct quality control review of imaging modalities including OCT, FFA, CFP, CT, MRI, and other study-specific scans.

  • Review clinical data including CRFs, eCRFs, and study reports to ensure completeness and accuracy.

  • Assist clinical sites with uploading imaging data and provide training on image acquisition guidelines.

  • Support data analysis, database lock, study closeout, and data reconciliation activities.

  • Manage queries and discrepancies related to imaging and clinical data.

  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for data collection and transfer systems.

  • Perform ongoing review of patient data and documents to ensure clinical accuracy and regulatory compliance.

  • Contribute to data capture requirements and provide guidance aligned with study protocols and reporting standards.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in clinical trials or optometry-related clinical work.

  • Experience in a Central Reading Center is preferred.

  • Knowledge of clinical imaging modalities and data management processes.

  • Understanding of audit readiness, clinical compliance, and data quality standards.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optometry, or

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in clinical optometry or medical imaging.
