Job Description:
We are looking for a Medical Reviewer with 2-3 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance or Clinical Research. In this role, you will be responsible for the medical review of both non-serious and serious adverse events (AEs/SAEs), special situations without AEs, and non-valid cases, as per SOPs and the User Manual.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Medical evaluation of cases, including event assessment, seriousness, labeling, and causality assessment.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of medical coding for all AEs/SAEs and reviewing the narrative cohesiveness and completeness.
  • Authoring the company causality/case comment (CCC) and determining additional actions required (e.g., queries to the reporter).
  • Providing medical questions for follow-up and ensuring accuracy in MedDRA and WHO-DD coding.
  • Managing mailboxes as per relevant instructions and ensuring accuracy in generating questionnaires.
  • Providing timely feedback to associates based on errors captured during case reviews.
  • Screening literature for potential safety signals and creating ICSRs as per relevant guidelines and SOPs.

Qualifications:

  • MBBS or MD qualification.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance or clinical experience.
  • Strong understanding of medical coding (MedDRA, WHO-DD) and case assessment.
