Position Overview:

As a Medical Information Specialist at IQVIA, you will play a pivotal role in Patient Safety, working closely with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients. This highly visible position will involve direct contact with these groups and contribute to optimizing the safety profiles of pharmaceutical products in various therapeutic areas. You will work within IQVIA’s largest safety department globally and benefit from ongoing training and development to help grow your career.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Phone Support: Provide phone support to HCPs and patients, handling medical inquiries, adverse events (AEs), product quality complaints, and other types of calls.

  • Call Documentation: Receive and document calls, faxes, or emails from various sources, including investigative sites, during regular business hours.

  • Team Communication: Establish and maintain effective team communications, providing regular feedback to local management on project metrics, challenges, and successes.

  • Collaboration: Foster a positive, collaborative team environment with other Lifecycle Safety team members.

  • Training & Development: Participate in training across Lifecycle Safety service offerings and contribute to working groups focused on new initiatives, process efficiencies, and implementation of improvements.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Life Science is required.

  • Language Proficiency:

    • English: Excellent written and verbal skills (minimum C1 level).

    • French: Native or C2 proficiency.

    • Additional Language: Proficiency in Italian or German (minimum C1 level).

  • Learning Aptitude: Willingness to learn new skills across Lifecycle Safety service lines.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail to maintain quality standards.

  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Relationship Building: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.

  • Workload Management: Ability to manage competing priorities and organize personal workload effectively.
