Job Overview:
IQVIA is seeking a Medical Information Specialist fluent in German and English to join our Safety Operations Team in Prague. This role plays a crucial part in the patient safety process by supporting healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients directly. As the first line of contact for medical inquiries, adverse event reporting, and product quality complaints, you'll contribute to global safety across therapeutic areas including Respiratory, Infectious Diseases, Immunology, HIV, and Oncology.

You will join a globally respected team in the largest safety department in the world, receiving structured training, mentorship, and career growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide inbound phone/email support to HCPs and patients for medical inquiries, adverse events (AEs), and product quality complaints (PQCs)

  • Accurately document and track interactions from multiple sources (calls, emails, faxes)

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory timelines and internal procedures for safety and quality reporting

  • Maintain strong communication with project management teams, contributing feedback and updates

  • Support training initiatives and cross-functional collaboration within the Lifecycle Safety department

  • Engage in continuous learning and implement new process efficiencies as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Nursing, Biology, or related)

  • Proficiency in German (C1) and English (C1) – written and spoken

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic, multicultural environment

Estimated Salary:
CZK 750,000 – CZK 900,000 per annum (based on experience and local benchmarks)
