Medical Information Specialist (German & English) – Prague, Czech Republic

Job Summary:
IQVIA, a global leader in clinical research and life sciences analytics, is hiring a Medical Information Specialist fluent in German and English to support global pharmacovigilance and patient safety operations. This role places you at the center of drug safety, working directly with healthcare professionals and patients, helping to track and report medical inquiries and product safety issues across key therapeutic areas including Respiratory, Infectious Diseases, Immunology, Inflammation, HIV, and Oncology. Ideal for life sciences professionals eager to make an impact in a regulated, multilingual environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound medical inquiries, adverse events, and product quality complaints from healthcare professionals and patients.

  • Record and manage data from calls, emails, and faxes into safety databases during standard business hours.

  • Support the reporting of safety and product quality information in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

  • Collaborate with the Lifecycle Safety team to maintain process efficiency and regulatory compliance.

  • Provide regular feedback to management on operational metrics, issues, and improvements.

  • Participate in continuous training and knowledge sharing across safety service lines.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related healthcare discipline (mandatory).

  • Fluency in English (C1 minimum) and German (C1 minimum) is essential.

  • Strong attention to detail with consistently high quality and accuracy in documentation.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Willingness to learn and contribute across IQVIA’s Lifecycle Safety service lines.

  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, managers, and external clients.
