Position Summary:

The Medical Information Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products by responding to unsolicited medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and payers. As part of the Medical Information Contact Center (MICC), you will provide scientifically balanced, evidence-based, non-promotional information, while also documenting and managing adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs).

You will work across multiple products, therapeutic areas, and communication channels, supporting the post-marketing lifecycle of pharmaceutical products through customer interactions and high-quality documentation.


Key Responsibilities:

🩺 Medical Information Services

  • Respond to medical inquiries from HCPs, consumers, and payers across various platforms (phone, email, CRM, chat).

  • Research and evaluate medical literature to formulate evidence-based, non-promotional responses.

  • Draft medical inquiry responses and provide support in writing adverse event and product complaint narratives.

⚠️ Adverse Event & Product Complaint Handling

  • Identify and document AEs and PCs in compliance with EVERSANA MICC and client SOPs.

  • Ensure proper intake procedures aligned with FDA post-marketing safety reporting requirements.

  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and other departments to ensure proper handling and resolution of product quality complaints.

📚 Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of therapeutic areas and client-specific product information.

  • Ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation of all interactions.

  • Deliver excellent customer service and adhere to compliance standards.

Required Qualifications:

🎓 Education:

  • Required: Life Sciences degree (e.g., Pharm.D., M.Sc., B.Pharm, M.Pharm or equivalent)

💼 Experience & Skills:

  • Strong clinical background and understanding of therapeutic areas.

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

  • Experience in handling medical information inquiries, documentation, and scientific writing.

  • Familiarity with FDA AE/PC reporting processes and terminology is a plus.
