2. Job Overview

PrimeVigilance seeks a Medical Information Associate to support the Medical Information team by handling medical enquiries and identifying/reporting safety-related events in English during US working hours.


3. Key Responsibilities

A. Medical Enquiry Handling

  • Provide approved and accurate responses to enquiries from:

    • Healthcare professionals

    • Patients

    • Pharmaceutical clients

  • Handle incoming calls professionally and promptly

  • Document all enquiries in the Medical Information database with accuracy and completeness

B. Safety Reporting

  • Identify, document, and report:

    • Adverse events / side effects

    • Pregnancies

    • Special situations

    • Product quality complaints

  • Ensure reporting within required regulatory timelines

C. Operational Support

  • Participate in out-of-hours or 24/7 enquiry handling when required

  • Provide regular project updates and enquiry metrics to management

  • Assist in PV inspection readiness and participate in audits/inspections


4. Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Degree in a life science/biomedical field:

    • Chemistry

    • Biology

    • Biotechnology

    • Pharmacy

    • Nursing

Skills & Experience

  • Customer service or call-center experience preferred

  • Comfortable managing phone-based enquiries

  • Ability to work US hours and occasional out-of-hours shifts

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, multitasking

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Advanced English proficiency (written & verbal)
