Overview

The QA Report Reviewer is responsible for reviewing, editing, and fact-checking medical-legal reports to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to formatting standards. You’ll play a vital role in summarizing medical histories based on records, interacting with clients and physicians, and managing deadlines for time-sensitive cases. After an initial training period (with significant in-person engagement), the role will transition to primarily remote work.

This entry-level role offers room for growth, bonuses, and promotion based on performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Report Editing:
    • Insert basic biographical data into reports.
    • Correct formatting in Word documents.
    • Verify accuracy of medical facts and dates by cross-referencing source records.
  • Medical History Summaries:
    • Write concise summaries of patients' medical histories using available records.
  • Client and Team Interaction:
    • Communicate with physicians, attorneys, and clients via phone and email.
    • Coordinate with your supervisor to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Time Management:
    • Handle multiple reports and projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Ensure reports are completed to meet administrative or hearing date requirements.
  • Additional Tasks:
    • Take on special projects or tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

Skills

Education

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree (English, Sciences, Pre-Law, or related fields).
  • Paralegal backgrounds encouraged to apply.

Experience

  • Preferred: 2+ years in a relevant role (e.g., medical, legal, or insurance fields).
  • Strong candidates with a medical or legal background (e.g., nursing, pre-med programs, scribing, research, claims management) are highly valued.
  • New Graduates: Strong academic performance considered, even without professional experience.
