About the Role
We are seeking a Medical Data Analyst to join our Global Medical Affairs team in Hyderabad. This role is pivotal in translating both structured and unstructured medical data into actionable insights that drive scientific engagement, strategic planning, and patient-centered initiatives.
As part of the Medical Data & Analytics (MD&A) team, you will support global projects that inform decision-making, optimize outcomes, and contribute to advancing healthcare solutions worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret clinical, real-world, and operational datasets to provide insights for Global Medical Affairs
Support development of data-driven strategies for scientific engagement and patient-focused initiatives
Transform structured and unstructured data into meaningful reports, dashboards, and actionable insights
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including medical, clinical, and commercial stakeholders
Assist in preparation of analytics for publications, advisory boards, and internal scientific communications
Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with regulatory and corporate standards
Participate in ad hoc analytics projects and support evidence generation for business and clinical decisions
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biostatistics, Public Health, or related fields
2–5 years of experience in medical data analysis, healthcare analytics, or related roles
Proficiency in data management tools and statistical software (e.g., Excel, SAS, R, SQL, Python)
Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical trial data, and real-world evidence
Ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Skills & Competencies
Strong numerical and analytical aptitude with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Experience in data visualization, reporting, and dashboard development
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and data privacy standards in medical research
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
