Job Description:

The Medical Content Development Specialist at EVERSANA plays a critical role in supporting our integrated life sciences compliance team. This role is pivotal in developing medical and scientific content for a variety of clients, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, digital therapeutics, and over-the-counter companies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Medical Information, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, and Quality, to deliver high-quality content and ensure compliance with industry standards.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Manager, Medical Content Development, in content development engagements for integrated commercialization deals and for clients requiring medical information or medical affairs consulting.
  • Create scientifically rigorous content for Medical Affairs, Medical Information, and Medical Communications, including Scientific Response Documents (SRDs), FAQs, slide sets, abstracts, posters, educational materials, and more.
  • Drive the client document development process, gathering materials, developing content, and facilitating document review through Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) meetings.
  • Manage content on document management platforms (e.g., Veeva PromoMats, MedComms), ensuring accurate annotations and proper document uploads.
  • Conduct scientific data fact-checking to support medical reviewers participating in MLR teams.
  • Collaborate with the Manager, Medical Content Development, on strategy, tactical execution, and communication approaches for assigned projects.
  • Participate in client meetings, providing expertise and insight into content development.
  • Contribute to thought leadership articles, newsletters, publications, congress presentations, slides, and blogs related to medical content services.
  • Support the creation and updating of SOPs, templates, style guides, and other operational documents.
  • Mentor and coach team members, and assist in the hiring and onboarding processes.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and collaborate with leadership to implement new technologies and procedures for improving operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other medical writers and creative teams across EVERSANA.

Expectations of the Job:

  • Hours: Average 40+ hours/week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing medical content, especially for new product launches.
  • Experience publishing abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.
  • Expertise in multiple therapeutic areas.
  • Familiarity with Veeva Vault MedComms / PromoMats.

Physical/Mental Demands and Working Environment:

  • Office Setting: Frequent sitting, standing, and walking (up to 90% of the shift). Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds). Moderate noise level with frequent interruptions.
