๐Ÿงญ Job Overview

IQVIA is seeking a Patient Support Medical Claims Processing Representative for a 100% remote (work-from-home) contract position.
In this role, you will support payment assistance programs (e.g., co-pay cards, vouchers) and help patients access therapies by managing medical claims submitted by Healthcare Providers (HCPs) or patients.
This position is contract-based and managed by an external agency, with potential conversion to a full-time IQVIA role.


โš™๏ธ Key Responsibilities

  • ๐Ÿ“„ Claims Review & Adjudication:

    • Receive and process medical claims from HCPs or patients.

    • Verify completeness of documentation and interpret EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) and CMS-1500 forms.

    • Evaluate claims against program-specific business rules to determine approval or rejection.

  • ๐Ÿ’ฌ Customer Support:

    • Handle inquiries via telephone, email, fax, or other communication channels.

    • Ensure prompt and accurate responses to customer requests.

  • ๐Ÿ“ˆ Operational Support:

    • Identify process challenges and propose recommendations to management.

    • Maintain accurate records and uphold quality standards.

  • โฐ Work Schedule:

    • Must be available 40 hours/week.

    • Shifts offered:

      • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

      • 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST

      • 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM ET

      • 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST


๐ŸŽ“ Minimum Education & Experience

  • ๐ŸŽ“ Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

  • ๐Ÿงพ Certifications (Required):

    • Medical Billing Certification

    • Medical Coding Certification

    • HIPAA Certification

  • ๐Ÿ’ผ Experience:

    • Prior experience in claims processing (required)

    • Customer service experience (preferred)

    • Pharmacy Technician experience (preferred)

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

  • ๐Ÿง  Skills:

    • Ability to interpret EOBs

    • Strong attention to detail & organizational skills

    • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • ๐Ÿ’ต Base Pay: $23.00 per hour

  • Additional incentives, bonuses, and benefits may apply depending on experience, schedule, and location.
