Position Overview

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - Oncology will:

  • Identify and engage Key External Experts (KEEs) and future medical stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted scientific advisor throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Gather field data to generate medical insights.
  • Deliver medical/scientific learning solutions to internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute tactical field engagement plans.

Key Responsibilities

1. Field Medical Leadership

✅ Support Director MSL Team Lead in executing tactical field plans.
✅ Align medical/scientific engagement with business objectives.
✅ Serve as a coach, mentor, and role model for MSLs.

2. Scientific & Stakeholder Engagement

✅ Conduct scientific exchanges on products, diseases, and therapies.
✅ Discuss trends in disease state management and therapy advancements.
✅ Engage external stakeholders in one-on-one and group discussions.
✅ Maintain strong medical and scientific knowledge for peer-to-peer interactions.

3. Medical Insight Generation & Education

✅ Actively identify new stakeholders (KEEs, Nurses, Pharmacists, etc.).
✅ Support medical education activities and evidence generation initiatives.
✅ Address data gaps aligned with the medical strategy.
✅ Stay updated on local healthcare systems & dynamics.


Qualifications & Experience

🎓 Education:

  • Doctorate Degree in Health-Related Sciences (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO).

📌 Experience:

  • 3-5 years of scientific/medical experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • 2-3 years in Medical Affairs.
