Medical Advisor – Vaccines | Pfizer – Mumbai (On-site)

Job Summary

Pfizer India is hiring a Medical Advisor – Vaccines based in Mumbai to support medical strategies, scientific communication, and commercialization efforts for their vaccines portfolio. This on-site position is ideal for professionals with a medical background (MBBS/BDS/Ph.D./MD) and 2–3+ years of industry or clinical experience in pharmaceutical medicine, clinical research, or healthcare communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support brand planning and medical development strategies for vaccines.

  • Create and review promotional and CME materials in compliance with SOPs.

  • Conduct scientific interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs), including advisory boards and symposia.

  • Develop and review study protocols, CRFs, SAPs, and informed consent documents.

  • Provide scientific and regulatory inputs for new product registrations and labeling.

  • Write, review, and publish manuscripts and medical reports for locally sponsored studies.

  • Train the sales force on medical science and product knowledge.

  • Collaborate on new product planning, market research, and commercialization activities.

  • Provide balanced, timely, and accurate medical information to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, KOLs, and external institutions to support product launches and defend existing product lines.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, MDS, or Ph.D. from a recognized institution.

  • 2+ years of experience in medical affairs, clinical development, or pharma industry.

  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical medicine, pharmacology, clinical trial methodology, and relevant therapeutic areas.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven experience in medical writing, data interpretation, and scientific presentations.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, SOPs, and ethical guidelines.

  • Strategic thinking, sound medical judgment, and stakeholder management skills.
