Overview

IQVIA MedTech is seeking a Material Handler I to support warehouse and logistics operations at our San Diego depot.
This role offers an excellent entry point into the medical device industry, providing hands-on experience and opportunities for long-term career growth.

We are hiring immediately, with a flexible schedule and training provided.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lift and maneuver boxes or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs or more.

  • Mix cleaning solutions, clean and decontaminate incoming medical instruments per protocols.

  • Organize service worksheets and customer paperwork for internal processing.

  • Receive incoming shipments, unpack and inspect returned goods for condition and documentation accuracy.

  • Warehouse returned products for reconditioning, evaluation, and loaner use.

  • Scrap unusable products and prepare waste materials for vendor pickup.

  • Process service records post-repair, package and ship products per Bill of Materials.

  • Include appropriate Service Reports, Quality Documents, and shipping paperwork with outbound items.

  • Stock inventory and maintain UPS shipping equipment.

  • Follow all safety and PPE protocols, including use of safety glasses in designated areas.


Requirements

  • 0–2 years experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks (standing, walking, stooping, reaching).

  • Must possess an active, unrestricted driver’s license.

  • Dependable, reliable, and able to follow instructions precisely.

  • Ability to travel onsite daily to San Diego, CA.

  • Willingness to work shift schedules if required.

  • Must comply with onsite PPE and safety requirements at all times.


Preferred Attributes

  • Prior experience handling medical devices, instrument reprocessing, or warehouse logistics.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working under minimal supervision.

  • Interest in building a career within the medical technology sector.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on skills and experience).
