Role Overview

As a Technical Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in planning and executing manufacturing operations. You’ll apply your expertise in process equipment, automation systems, and operational procedures to support production activities while maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines. This role also involves mentoring others and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations Support

  • Operate and troubleshoot process equipment and systems.
  • Ensure operational tasks are executed per Pfizer policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor production tasks, identify non-conformance issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Team Collaboration

  • Support training for team members to enhance operational expertise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Lead and prioritize workflow for operational tasks while guiding team members.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure audit readiness by maintaining compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Advise management on issues and provide solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies for better production outcomes.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 6 years of relevant work experience.

Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, especially with biopharmaceutical unit operations or laboratory processes.

Work Schedule

  • Night Shift (6 PM to 6 AM) following a 2/3/3 model.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Wage: $24.88–$41.46, including eligibility for overtime, weekend, and holiday pay.
