GP Sales Representative – Canberra, Australia

Job Summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a driven and dynamic GP Sales Representative to promote life-changing diabetes and obesity treatments across Canberra and surrounding territories. If you're passionate about patient outcomes and thrive in a results-oriented healthcare sales environment, this role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact while working with a global leader in healthcare innovation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with General Practitioners, Pharmacists, and Diabetes Educators across designated regions including Woden, Tuggeranong, Queanbeyan, Wagga Wagga, Griffith, Leeton, and Tumut.

  • Promote Novo Nordisk’s diabetes and obesity portfolio through in-person and digital channels.

  • Develop and execute tailored territory business plans aligned with brand objectives.

  • Deliver impactful group presentations and implement strategic marketing initiatives.

  • Monitor and report competitor activities and market trends.

  • Operate within business ethics, compliance regulations, and the Novo Nordisk Way.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Territory-based sales experience preferred, ideally within healthcare or pharmaceutical industries.

  • Proven track record in achieving or exceeding sales KPIs.

  • Strong data interpretation skills with the ability to translate clinical information for HCPs.

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • Must hold a valid Australian driver’s license.

  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

  • Willingness to travel regularly, including occasional extended hours or weekends.
