Clinical Medical Manager – Hyderabad, India

Job Summary:
Novo Nordisk is hiring a Clinical Medical Manager for its Early Launches – Rare Disease Marketing team in Hyderabad. This pivotal role supports clinical trials and provides scientific and medical expertise in high-priority therapy areas such as cardiovascular disease (CVD), chronic kidney disease (CKD), and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). Ideal for experienced medical professionals with at least 5 years of clinical or pharma industry experience, this role is an exciting opportunity to shape early-stage launches and improve patient outcomes in emerging therapeutic areas.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of clinical trials (Phase I-IV) across new therapy areas.

  • Provide medical and scientific guidance to clinical operations and internal teams.

  • Identify and engage key opinion leaders (KOLs), investigators, and research centers.

  • Collect early-stage scientific insights from external medical experts.

  • Deliver internal training and facilitate trial site engagement activities.

  • Ensure KOL participation and visibility in clinical trials and communicate outcomes.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • MD in any discipline with clinical research or medical affairs background.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or clinical research.

  • Deep understanding of therapeutic areas such as CVD, CKD, and NASH.

  • Previous authorship in peer-reviewed journals is preferred.

  • Experience as an investigator or sub-investigator in clinical trials.

  • Strong knowledge of drug development and healthcare infrastructure.

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for site visits and conferences.
