Location: Spokane, WA

Shift: Weekday Night Shift, Monday to Wednesday & Every Other Thursday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM


Job Description:

Jubilant HollisterStier LLC, a leader in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries, is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Manufacturing Process Technician for the Formulation department. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform compounding duties to support the SVP1 and SVP2 aseptic fill lines while maintaining sterility and adhering to all regulatory and safety standards.

As a Process Technician IV – Formulation, you will work in highly controlled environments and follow strict procedures to ensure the successful manufacturing of pharmaceutical products. This position involves operating various pieces of equipment, compounding solutions, and maintaining accurate documentation while ensuring the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate compounding equipment such as tanks, mixers, and pumps to prepare pharmaceutical products.
  • Stage equipment and perform post-run activities for scheduled production runs.
  • Compound various solutions in the SVP area, ensuring proper measurements and mixing.
  • Utilize measurement devices (e.g., scales, pH meters, dissolved oxygen meters) to ensure accurate product formulation.
  • Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, percentages, ratios) for solution preparation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with GMP standards.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during all job functions to ensure product quality and safety.
  • Accurately document production processes, including equipment logs and batch records.
  • Ensure the protection of self, others, property, and products by adhering to safety protocols.
  • Work with pressurized systems (air, steam, hot water) as required during production.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate of Science degree preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in chemical compounding or pharmaceutical production is helpful. Manufacturing production and equipment operation experience is desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Basic math skills, including the ability to perform calculations such as percentages and ratios.
    • Mechanical aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting.
    • Familiarity with pharmaceutical and FDA regulated industry standards is a plus.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift 40-70 pounds unassisted.
    • Prolonged standing, exposure to latex and other allergens, confined spaces, and pushing/pulling may be required.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hiring Wage: $22.98 per hour with opportunities for growth, promotion, and annual raises.
  • Shift Differential Pay: Available based on the shift worked:
    • Weekday Day Shift (12 hrs): 2.50%
    • Weekday Night Shift (12 hrs): 10%
    • Weekend Day Shift (12 hrs): 12%
    • Weekend Night Shift (12 hrs): 15%
