Position Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing Packaging Process Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for inspecting products, operating critical packaging equipment, and performing various operational tasks within the SVP I&P facility while ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Pass hand inspection qualification program and maintain qualification annually.
  • Perform manual or semi-automatic inspection of products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Operate critical packaging equipment, including inspection, taper, and packaging machinery, as per SVP SOPs.
  • Accurately document production processes in production records using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Perform accountability of product components at various stages of the production process.
  • Complete operational checks, perform minor equipment adjustments, and troubleshoot as necessary to ensure production continuity.
  • Set up, change over, and clean equipment as required for scheduled production runs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Receive training and education as needed to support job performance.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Specialist.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Experience in pharmaceutical packaging, manufacturing, or equipment operation is highly desired.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to learn and adhere to cGMP and SOPs.
    • Basic computer skills and mechanical aptitude.
    • Legible handwriting and attention to detail.
    • Ability to operate semi-automatic inspection equipment, pallet jacks, and forklifts is a plus.
    • Must have passed hand inspection qualification program and all Dabrico inspection quadrants.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Corrected near vision to 14/14, and ability to pass vision acuity tests and meet color deficiency standards.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive activities and work in a standing or seated position for extended periods.
  • Frequent work involving tasks above shoulder level.
