Job Title: Managing Consultant
Location: US - Remote

Job Overview:
Navitas Life Sciences is looking for a Managing Consultant to lead and manage consultancy projects, build client relationships, and drive business development. This is a senior-level role where you will oversee a portfolio of projects, guide project teams, and contribute to the company’s revenue growth through ongoing business development activities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Patient Safety, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Development, or Regulatory Affairs and experience in managing complex projects and client relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership:

    • Lead consultancy projects from initial brief to final delivery, ensuring effective client solutions and timely project completion.
    • Own and track project scope, deliverables, risks, issues, and timelines, ensuring adherence to plans and profitability.
    • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in project analysis, design, and implementation.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring effective communication and client satisfaction.
    • Drive business growth by managing client portfolios, generating revenue (up to $500k), and conducting new business development activities.
    • Develop client-focused proposals and conduct senior-level client meetings.
  • Business Development:

    • Contribute to sales growth through lead generationproposal development, and contract negotiation.
    • Manage client accounts and relationships to extend partnerships and increase revenue.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship:

    • Mentor and coach project teams, providing direction, feedback, and professional development support to team members (2-6 team members).
    • Foster teamwork and collaboration within project teams, setting clear objectives and tracking progress.
  • Company Initiatives & Knowledge Management:

    • Contribute to strategic themes, internal business improvement projects, and collateral development (e.g., case studies, best practices).
    • Act as an internal SME, capturing and disseminating knowledge across the organization.
    • Lead internal meetings and serve as a role model for Navitas Life Sciences’ initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • At least 8 years in the Life Sciences industry or consulting, with 4 years in a Senior Consulting role, 3 years in the Life Sciences/Pharma industry, and 2 years in business development.
    • Preferred expertise in Patient Safety, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Development, or Regulatory Affairs.
  • Skills:

    • Strong consulting skills and proficiency with methodologies and tools.
    • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills with the ability to manage senior-level client and stakeholder relationships.
    • Expertise in project management, managing complexity, resources, and profitability.
    • Proven track record in business development, including lead generation, proposal writing, and contract development.
  • Education:

    • A strong degree (2:1) in a relevant subject (e.g., Science, Life Sciences).
    • PhD or MBA is preferred.
