Job Summary
Amgen, a global biotechnology pioneer, is hiring a Manager – Wellness & Wellbeing at its Hyderabad location. This is a unique opportunity for experienced wellness professionals to design and lead impactful health and wellbeing programs. The role supports Amgen’s commitment to fostering a culture of physical, emotional, mental, and financial wellness across a global workforce. Ideal for candidates with strong experience in corporate wellness, EAP, employee engagement, and health promotion.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive employee wellbeing strategy across multiple dimensions (mental, physical, financial, emotional)
Launch targeted wellness initiatives based on employee feedback, organizational priorities, and health trends
Collaborate with HR, DEI, and leadership to embed wellness into company policies and culture
Manage wellness vendors and negotiate service agreements
Lead engagement campaigns, workshops, and awareness events (e.g., Mental Health Month, fitness challenges)
Promote employee utilization of wellness resources through internal communications
Equip managers and leaders with training and tools to support team wellbeing
Track utilization data, measure outcomes, and refine program strategy
Deliver reports to leadership outlining key insights and impact of wellbeing initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing employee wellness or corporate wellbeing programs
Expertise in health promotion, mental health awareness, and workplace wellbeing strategies
Familiarity with wellness platforms, EAPs, and benefits integration
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in large, diverse, global organizations
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Background in healthcare, pharma, life sciences, or corporate HR is preferred
