A leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Baddi is hiring for a Manager – Technical Operations. The ideal candidate will support product scale-up, process improvement, technical documentation, and overall production support. Key Responsibilities
Receive new and reformulated products from I&D for site implementation.
Manage scale-up/scale-down for both new and existing products.
Prepare Manufacturing Master Documents (MMD) for all products.
Review sampling plans for engineering and process validation.
Provide technical inputs for formulation or process changes via QMS.
Handle reprocessing and reworking of existing formulations.
Lead trial and non-commercial batch documentation and execution.
Approve or provide inputs for API/excipient material review.
Manage tech transfer for internalization and externalization of products.
Draft and maintain department-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Offer formulation and analytical troubleshooting support.
Initiate and support cost-saving projects in formulation and process.
Prepare, review, and approve production-related documents.
Ensure compliance across technical operations and production.
Review and approve documents requiring chemist authorization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline.
Experience in formulation development, process scale-up, and technical documentation.
Strong understanding of QMS, validation, and compliance practices.
Experience with tech transfer (internal/external).
Knowledge of SOPs, MMD preparation, and troubleshooting methods.
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple cross-functional tasks.
Typically requires 7–12 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical technical operations.
