Job Summary

A leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Baddi is hiring for a Manager – Technical Operations. The ideal candidate will support product scale-up, process improvement, technical documentation, and overall production support. This role demands a strong background in formulation, process validation, QMS, and tech transfer in the pharmaceutical industry. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive new and reformulated products from I&D for site implementation.

  • Manage scale-up/scale-down for both new and existing products.

  • Prepare Manufacturing Master Documents (MMD) for all products.

  • Review sampling plans for engineering and process validation.

  • Provide technical inputs for formulation or process changes via QMS.

  • Handle reprocessing and reworking of existing formulations.

  • Lead trial and non-commercial batch documentation and execution.

  • Approve or provide inputs for API/excipient material review.

  • Manage tech transfer for internalization and externalization of products.

  • Draft and maintain department-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Offer formulation and analytical troubleshooting support.

  • Initiate and support cost-saving projects in formulation and process.

  • Prepare, review, and approve production-related documents.

  • Ensure compliance across technical operations and production.

  • Review and approve documents requiring chemist authorization.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline.

  • Experience in formulation development, process scale-up, and technical documentation.

  • Strong understanding of QMS, validation, and compliance practices.

  • Experience with tech transfer (internal/external).

  • Knowledge of SOPs, MMD preparation, and troubleshooting methods.

  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple cross-functional tasks.

  • Typically requires 7–12 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical technical operations.
