Role Description:

The Manager - Product will be responsible for driving the brand’s growth and profitability by managing both topline and bottomline growth. This role involves strategic planning, effective management of media campaigns, marketing analysis, digital initiatives, and overseeing brand development through innovation and new product developments (NPDs). The Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams and external agencies to ensure effective execution of marketing strategies and campaigns that align with Lupin's objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Brand Growth & Profitability:

    • Drive the topline and bottomline growth of the brand by focusing on Gross Contribution (GC%) and the A to S ratio (Advertising to Sales ratio).
    • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to build the brand and achieve the set financial and market share goals.
  2. Strategic Initiatives:

    • Create and implement brand-building initiatives that are aligned with the long-term objectives of the brand.
    • Work on new product innovations and brand extensions to ensure continuous growth.
  3. Media ROI Management:

    • Efficiently manage ATL (Above-the-Line) campaigns and BTL (Below-the-Line) activities, ensuring high ROI and effectiveness in reaching target audiences.
    • Analyze media spend and results to optimize future campaigns.
  4. Marketing Analysis:

    • Analyze market data and key performance indicators to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
    • Use data to track brand performance and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Innovation & NPD (New Product Development):

    • Strategically create a roadmap for product and brand extensions, ensuring the brand stays competitive in the market.
    • Lead the development and launch of new products to align with market trends and consumer demands.
  6. Digital Marketing:

    • Accelerate brand growth by leveraging relevant digital marketing initiatives and platforms.
    • Drive digital campaigns to enhance online presence and engagement.
  7. Stakeholder Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams (e.g., sales, R&D, manufacturing) to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies.
    • Collaborate effectively across teams to achieve business objectives.
  8. Agency Management:

    • Manage external creative, media, and digital agencies to ensure timely delivery of brand campaigns and creative assets.
