Job Title: Manager, Pharmacovigilance

Location: Karnataka, India (Hybrid)

Role Overview:

Clarivate is seeking a Manager, Pharmacovigilance to lead our PV Literature team. This role involves literature monitoring, adverse event assessment, indexing, and abstracting, requiring strong expertise in pharmacovigilance regulations and drug safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee PV operations and training staff, ensuring quality deliverables and compliance.
  • Provide functional expertise and handle queries related to PV operations.
  • Participate in client and internal meetings, offering project updates to senior management.
  • Manage team performance, process improvements, and client feedback implementation.
  • Prepare for and respond to internal/external audits and inspections.
  • Assist in day-to-day operational activities within the PV team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Health, or Biomedical Sciences (Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc.).
  • 10+ years of experience in biomedical literature review for adverse event reporting.
  • At least 5 years of team management experience in pharmacovigilance.
  • Strong knowledge of drug safety regulations and the drug development process.
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification from a professional medical writers’ association.
  • Experience with commercial and client-specific biomedical literature databases.
  • Background in scientific or medical writing.
