Job Summary
Join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Baddi as a Manager – Operations. This role is critical in managing product scale-up, technology transfers, formulation troubleshooting, and process optimization. The position is ideal for professionals experienced in handling production batches, reprocessing protocols, and documentation aligned with pharma regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and manage new and reformulated products from I&D to AHPL Baddi.
Conduct scale-up/scale-down operations to assess occupancy in RMG and Blender.
Prepare and update MMDs for new and existing products.
Review sampling plans for engineering and process validation batches.
Provide technical inputs for formulation improvements including equipment, process, and shelf life changes via QMS.
Handle reprocessing and reworking of formulations.
Support failure investigations and exceptions where applicable.
Manage documentation and execution of trial/non-commercial batches.
Provide technical review for new/old material (API/Excipient) approvals.
Support product internalization/externalization with third-party and LL/TP sites.
Prepare departmental SOPs and ensure compliance.
Provide analytical/formulation troubleshooting support, including method development.
Execute identified technical projects for existing products.
Lead floor execution and create detailed technical proposals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline.
Strong understanding of formulation development, scale-up, and process validation.
Experience in preparing MMDs and sampling plans.
Familiarity with QMS systems and documentation protocols.
Hands-on experience with RMG, Blenders, and pharma manufacturing equipment.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in SOP preparation and regulatory documentation.
Good project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
