Work Schedule & Environment

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st shift

  • Environment: Office and internal kitting facility

  • Work may involve using standard office equipment, exposure to electrical equipment, and performing tasks upright/stationary for extended periods.


Job Summary

The Manager of Kit Production leads all operations of the internal kitting facility, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and reliability. This role oversees kit assembly, packaging, staff management, vendor coordination, and operational compliance.


Key Responsibilities

Kit Production & Operations

  • Manage all aspects of kit production, including assembly, packing, and quality control checks.

  • Serve as main point of contact for kitting operations and senior management.

  • Coordinate with internal departments and external kit vendors.

  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements.

  • Supervise workload and key performance indicators for production teams.

  • Address kit vendor quality issues and ensure order accuracy.

  • Occasionally assist with back orders, modifications, and shipping schedules.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Provide system and courier system training; act as subject matter expert for departmental software.

  • Participate in daily operations, complaint resolution, and onboarding/training of new personnel.

  • Build work schedules and plan team holidays.

Collaboration & Meetings

  • Attend weekly operational and study protocol meetings.

  • Educate staff on critical issues and participate in leadership meetings, audits, and vendor visits.

  • Coordinate internal kitting facility for efficient operations.


Minimum Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent formal academic or vocational qualification.

  • Minimum 2+ years in a leadership role.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proven leadership with management and business insight.

  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP).

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.

  • Effective negotiation, problem resolution, and critical thinking.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Accurate data entry and attention to detail.

  • Maintain confidentiality with client protocols and study data.
