About the Role

As a Manager - HEVA (Evidence Synthesis), you will lead and manage multiple Evidence Synthesis projects within your assigned portfolio. Your primary responsibility will be to generate robust health economics and value-based evidence to support global and local market access, working in collaboration with Global HEVA Business Partners (BPs) and the Global HEVA Evidence Synthesis lead.

You will play a pivotal role in developing evidence strategies for programs/products, managing innovative research programs, and ensuring high-quality execution of health economics studies. Your work will provide crucial evidence for reimbursement decisions and help optimize market access for Sanofi’s products throughout their lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

Research & Evidence Generation

  • Manage Evidence Synthesis Projects: Oversee the execution of research studies, including burden of illness studies, epidemiology, literature reviews, meta-analyses, observational studies, economic evaluations, and patient-reported outcomes.
  • Strategic Evidence Planning: Develop research plans to support pre-launch, launch, and post-launch activities for investigational and marketed products.
  • Innovative Research Programs: Collaborate with Global HEVA BPs to design and execute innovative evidence generation programs that align with product strategies.

Evidence Dissemination & Impact

  • Core Value Dossiers (CVD): Lead the development of CVD and AMCP dossiers, ensuring strategic direction and alignment with global market access and reimbursement requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Work to innovate and optimize HEVA’s evidence generation and dissemination processes to increase the relevance and impact of generated evidence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that evidence meets the needs of global and local markets, ensuring optimal access and reimbursement outcomes.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentorship & Coaching: Mentor and provide guidance to HEVA associates, supporting their growth and development while ensuring high-quality output.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Commercial, and Market Access, ensuring effective teamwork across different therapeutic areas and geographies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with global teams across various time zones, ensuring milestones are met and projects are delivered on time.

Process Management

  • Develop HEVA Strategic Content: Create complex evidence materials, manage HEVA evidence generation processes, and ensure alignment with global and regional scientific and value messaging.
  • Adhere to Standards: Ensure adherence to evidence generation guidelines and standards to maintain high-quality research and accurate reporting.

Requirements

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in HEOR (Health Economics and Outcomes Research) within the pharmaceutical industry, CRO consultancy, or academia.

Skills

  • Analytical Expertise: Strong ability to translate clinical and economic data into payer strategies.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage teams, and drive collaboration across functions.
  • Market Access Understanding: In-depth knowledge of reimbursement decisions and market access landscapes.

Education

  • Advanced Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related discipline, or Medical Degree.

Languages

  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.
