Experience Required

  • 6+ years of relevant experience (with a Master's degree) or 8+ years (with a Bachelor's degree) in HEOR, Medical Writing, Regulatory Writing, or Value Writing within the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Healthcare Consulting industry.

  • Experience developing Global Value Dossiers (GVDs), AMCP dossiers, and HTA submissions is essential.

Job Overview

The Manager – Global HEOR, Value Writing supports Amgen's global market access strategy by developing high-quality Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and payer-focused scientific documents. The role collaborates with Global HEOR teams to create value dossiers, evidence summaries, scientific publications, and reimbursement materials that effectively communicate the clinical and economic value of therapies.

Key Responsibilities

HEOR & Value Writing

  • Develop and maintain Global Value Dossiers (GVDs).

  • Prepare US AMCP Dossiers and EU Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA) Dossiers.

  • Develop Early HTA Briefing Books and value communication documents.

  • Create scientifically accurate, payer-focused content using clinical, economic, and real-world evidence.

  • Ensure documents align with global product and market access strategies.

Scientific Publications

  • Prepare abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and scientific reports.

  • Support HEOR publication planning and execution.

  • Ensure compliance with publication standards and Good Publication Practice (GPP).

Evidence Generation & Research

  • Conduct Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs).

  • Perform Targeted Literature Reviews (TLRs).

  • Develop evidence summaries and evidence synthesis reports.

  • Integrate clinical, epidemiological, economic, and real-world evidence into payer-relevant narratives.

Process & Quality Management

  • Follow internal quality standards and publication processes.

  • Ensure compliance with HTA submission requirements.

  • Support development of training materials and onboarding documentation.

  • Maintain knowledge of global HTA guidelines, payer expectations, and reimbursement trends.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with Global HEOR Product Leads and cross-functional teams.

  • Collaborate with global stakeholders across multiple time zones.

  • Build effective relationships with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Clinical Development, and Regulatory teams.

  • Support strategic evidence generation and value communication initiatives.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in:

    • Pharmacy

    • Health Economics

    • Medicine

    • Public Health

    • Life Sciences

    • Or a related healthcare discipline

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR).

  • Experience developing Global Value Dossiers (GVDs), AMCP Dossiers, and HTA submissions.

  • Knowledge of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) processes.

  • Experience synthesizing clinical, economic, and real-world evidence.

  • Expertise in Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs) and evidence synthesis.

  • Strong medical and scientific writing skills.

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with EndNote or other reference management software.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of Good Publication Practice (GPP) and publication submission processes.

  • Ability to leverage AI tools to improve writing efficiency and productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting global reimbursement and market access strategies.

  • Familiarity with international payer evidence requirements.

  • Experience working across multiple therapeutic areas.
