Position Overview
The Manager, Clinical Trial Supply Management (CTSM) will support a wide range of activities within the CTSM department at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. This includes coordinating drug supply, inventory management, shipping, and documentation approval, among other essential administrative tasks. Reporting to the Senior Director, Head of CTSM, the role will require working closely with various teams to ensure smooth drug supply operations for clinical trials.


Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Coordinate drug supply administrative activities within the CTSM department.
  • Manage drug supply inventory, shipping logistics, drug returns, and destruction requests.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and QA teams to support the RFP process, vendor selection, and onboarding.
  • Maintain databases and program folders for the CTSM department.
  • Review and approve clinical supply documentation with cross-functional teams.
  • Facilitate departmental meetings and external vendor interactions.
  • Create and manage CTSM dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Oversee procurement requests, legal reviews, work order approvals, PO generation, and invoice payments.
  • Support the maintenance of CTSM project budgets and track vendor performance.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement and Operational Excellence initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4–6 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Experience in clinical trial supplies management required; logistics, distribution, or customs experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with teams across different time zones.
  • Strong initiative to drive improvements and implement change programs.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to handle tasks of varying complexity, including budgeting and meeting administration.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SAP, Coupa/S2P experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement and Operational Excellence principles is desirable.

Compensation
The full base pay range for this role is $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 for US-based candidates, depending on experience, qualifications, and other factors. This role may also include discretionary annual bonuses, equity grants, and additional benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), and flexible paid vacation.
