About the Role:
Novartis is seeking a Manager – Compliance & Risk Operations to independently lead high-impact audit readiness and compliance initiatives that support U.S. operations. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with robust experience in compliance, audits, and regulatory frameworks within the life sciences industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for the Hyderabad Audit Readiness Team, resolving issues and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

  • Lead audit readiness activities, including documentation control, remediation, stakeholder reporting, and proactive monitoring.

  • Partner with U.S. and global stakeholders to ensure compliance strategy alignment and knowledge sharing.

  • Develop and manage dashboards, reporting frameworks, and conduct trend analyses for senior leadership.

  • Drive process optimization and digital transformation in compliance and documentation workflows.

  • Maintain audit trail integrity and ensure preparedness for internal and external inspections.

  • Mentor junior team members and provide backup support during resource gaps to ensure business continuity.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (mandatory); advanced degree (Pharm.D., M.Pharm, JD, MBA in Compliance or Health Admin) preferred.

  • 7+ years of industry experience, with minimum 2 years in Compliance or Audit roles within Life Sciences.

  • In-depth understanding of U.S. Compliance & Regulatory frameworks and Materials Approval Process.

  • Experience in leading cross-functional projects in global/matrixed environments.

  • Proficiency in analytics, risk analysis, and dashboard/report development.

  • Familiarity with Gen AI / Agentic AI technologies is a plus.

  • Strong communication and strategic influencing skills.
