Job Overview

IQVIA’s In-Home Clinical Solutions team is seeking a dedicated Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to provide in-home diagnostic services. This per diem role involves traveling to patient residences to perform clinical services such as phlebotomy, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and macular edema screenings to support treatment initiation and adherence strategies.

Scheduling and patient communication are managed by IQVIA, allowing you to focus fully on patient care. This role offers flexible hours with no minimum monthly visit requirement.

Position Details

Per diem, mobile-based role with flexible scheduling.

No minimum monthly visit commitment.

Paid hourly, including appointment and travel time (2-hour minimum).

IRS-standard mileage reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities

Perform in-home blood specimen collection, labeling, and transport according to network policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Conduct screenings (EKGs, macular edema exams) as trained.

Ensure laboratory safety and proper specimen delivery to designated labs.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including transportation and supply storage.

Monitor and manage clinical supply inventory.

Collaborate with the clinical coordination team to complete and submit visit-related documentation accurately and promptly.

Identify and report adverse events, medical product complaints, or patient inquiries per IQVIA and manufacturer guidance.

Maintain accurate mileage and time logs for reimbursement and compliance purposes.

Qualifications

Education & Certification:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred.

Washington or Louisiana candidates require a state-issued CMA or CPT license.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in clinical or field settings.

At least 1 year of EKG experience preferred.

Skills & Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for transporting medical/diagnostic equipment.

Willingness to travel up to 100 miles for patient visits.

Proficiency in using medical equipment and maintaining proper documentation.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach.

Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Must pass drug screening and background check.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Pay: $25.00 per hour (may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, and schedule).
