Job Responsibilities

  • Sales & Marketing Execution: Implement marketing and sales strategies within the target group to achieve or exceed revenue, sales, and market share goals for the Hexal product and service portfolio.
  • Scientific Consultation: Provide scientific advice to core target groups on focus products and the related product portfolio, particularly in pain management and endocrinology.
  • Stakeholder & Network Management: Continuously analyze, document, and map key stakeholders and decision-making networks. Develop detailed referral network and account plans.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct continuous competitor and customer analyses using available analytical tools (Qlksense, PSC, etc.).
  • KOL & Account Management: Build strategic relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and accounts based on a deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Event Management: Independently plan, organize, and conduct regional educational events, and participate in regional and national medical conferences.
  • Marketing Support: Assist the marketing team in developing scientific promotional materials.
  • Omni-Channel Engagement: Utilize all available communication channels (face-to-face, telephone, digital) and actively expand the omni-channel mix.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Educational Background: Degree in business administration, natural sciences, or qualification as a certified pharmaceutical representative.
  • Professional Experience: Extensive experience in pharmaceutical sales, ideally in pain management and endocrinology.
  • Digital & Omni-Channel Expertise: Strong experience in customer engagement via digital media (video calls, remote events, online meetings, etc.).
  • Medical & Market Knowledge: High-level expertise in relevant medical fields, customer behavior, competitors, sales, and decision-making processes.
  • Strategic & Analytical Skills: Strong entrepreneurial mindset with analytical and strategic competencies.
  • Networking Ability: Deep understanding of account analysis and planning with a strong focus on networking.
  • Industry Awareness: In-depth knowledge of the healthcare policy environment within the generic pharmaceutical market.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills and cross-functional collaboration experience.
  • Sales & Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to close deals and maintain strong customer commitments.
  • Personal Attributes: Strategic thinking, innovation mindset, self-motivation, resilience, and strong customer orientation.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in German and English.
