Job Overview

Sanofi is seeking a Jr. Associate – Evidence Synthesis to support global and local evidence-generation activities across multiple therapeutic areas. This role plays a key part in developing scientific and economic evidence that strengthens product value communication for regulatory, market access, and medical functions worldwide.

You will work within Sanofi Business Operations (SBO), a strategic global capability center in India supporting Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, R&D, and Data & Digital teams. SBO provides high-quality, centralized support for Medical, HEVA (Health Economics and Value Assessment), and Commercial functions across global markets.


Key Responsibilities

Evidence Synthesis & Research Execution

  • Support execution of Evidence Synthesis projects, including literature screening, data extraction, and full-text acquisition.

  • Assist in developing search strategies and contribute to evidence plans for pre-launch, launch, and post-launch product phases.

  • Contribute to studies such as burden of illness, epidemiology, systematic literature reviews, meta-analysis, retrospective and prospective observational studies, economic evaluations, and patient-reported outcomes.

Therapeutic Knowledge Development

  • Build and maintain expertise in assigned therapeutic areas to support evidence generation.

Project Support & Performance Delivery

  • Assist HEVA and Medical Product Leads in planning, managing, and delivering approved research studies.

  • Collaborate with external experts and research institutions involved in evidence development.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Support development of HEVA/Medical evidence materials and strategic documentation.

  • Contribute to creation and maintenance of standardized templates, processes, and evidence-generation frameworks.

  • Ensure compliance with internal evidence-generation guidelines and scientific standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with global and regional teams, including HEVA, Medical Affairs, Clinical, RWE, Market Access, Marketing, and External Affairs.

  • Assist in developing tailored, high-quality evidence deliverables aligned with stakeholder needs.

  • Support internal global hub teams in timely and accurate project delivery.


Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in HEOR within the pharmaceutical industry, CRO, academic research, or consulting.

Education

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Health Economics, Public Health, Biostatistics, or a related discipline.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and scientific writing skills

  • Ability to manage stakeholders effectively

  • Strong teamwork and independent working capabilities

Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills

  • Ability to interpret clinical and economic data

  • Understanding of evidence synthesis methodologies and payer evidence strategies

Languages

  • Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English
