Job Summary: The Medical Affairs Professional (MAP) is a clinically aligned scientist within the Medical Affairs team. This key role involves leveraging expertise in specific disease states, available treatments, and investigational compounds to contribute to strategic thinking and life cycle planning. The MAP plays a leading role in cross-functional partnerships with brand teams to meet external customer needs and internal business objectives. Additionally, they ensure medical activities comply with all regulations and company standards.

Main Accountability/Responsibility:

Scientific Expertise and Medical Affairs Delivery:
- Develop and contribute to the affiliate/therapeutic area medical plan and strategies.
- Lead data analysis and the development of scientific publications (abstracts, posters, manuscripts).
- Collaborate with other Medical Affairs roles to deliver exceptional customer experiences through medical education initiatives.
- Collect insights on patient journeys, treatment patterns, and unmet needs.
- Support data generation and research in line with affiliate business needs.
- Contribute to the creation of medical information letters and support Scientific Data Disclosure (SDD) plans.
Cross-Functional Team Collaboration:
- Serve as a key medical point of contact for cross-functional teams, including the brand team.
- Contribute to the development of brand medical strategies and support medical launch activities.
- Offer scientific input for promotional materials and review global/regional content.
- Support medical training for internal business partners like Sales and Marketing.
- Lead and plan medical symposia, advisory boards, and scientific meetings with healthcare professionals (HCPs).
- Collaborate effectively with alliance partners.
Customer Engagement & Experience:
- Respond to external customer inquiries and escalate as needed in compliance with company guidelines.
- Coordinate engagement with Thought Leaders and oversee speaker training.
- Build relationships with professional societies and deliver educational meetings with commercial teams.
- Drive improvements in customer engagement through digital innovations.
- Lead efforts to enhance positive customer experiences through medical team involvement.
Collaboration with Regulatory:
- Participate in local labeling development and modifications in collaboration with global teams.
- Provide medical expertise to regulatory teams and assist in regulatory report preparation.
- Support regulatory agency meetings and discussions.
- Contribute to risk management planning alongside the Global Patient Safety team.
Professional Development:
- Stay current with professional development training.
- Ensure completion of myPM objectives in line with company processes.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
