Job Overview

A leading global intellectual property solutions provider is seeking an IP Admin Senior Analyst (Patent Paralegal) to support patent lifecycle management and IP portfolio administration. This hybrid US-based role provides paralegal and docketing support to attorneys, law firms, and corporate clients while ensuring compliance with United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) procedures.

The position is ideal for professionals with experience in patent prosecution support, IP management systems (IPMS), docketing, and portfolio administration who are seeking to grow within a high-performance intellectual property environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end paralegal support throughout the patent lifecycle

  • Prepare and file patent-related documents with the USPTO

  • Manage and maintain assigned client patent portfolios

  • Run docket reports and monitor statutory deadlines

  • Perform docketing and de-docketing activities within IP management systems

  • Review patent prosecution documents received via mail or electronic systems and accurately create records in IPMS

  • Coordinate timely filing of patent applications and office action responses

  • Facilitate accurate and timely payment of USPTO and annuity fees

  • Collaborate with attorneys, law firms, agents, and clients to ensure compliance and service excellence

  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction

Required Qualifications

Education:
Associate’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience in a patent paralegal or IP administration role.

Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a patent paralegal or working within an IP management system.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of patent prosecution workflows

  • Experience with docketing systems and IPMS platforms

  • Understanding of USPTO filing procedures

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a production-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with domestic and foreign patent docketing

  • Background working in high-volume, deadline-driven environments

  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed contractual timeliness targets

Base Salary: USD 60,000 – 70,000 annually
