About the Role

We are hiring an experienced QA Automation Tester with strong expertise in Playwright and TypeScript to join a high-performing technology team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in automation testing, CI/CD integration, API testing, and database validation within agile environments.

The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring software quality, reliability, and performance by designing and implementing scalable automated test frameworks and integrating them into modern DevOps pipelines.


Experience Required

  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in relational database testing and validation

  • Proven experience working with Playwright and TypeScript

  • Experience in CI/CD pipeline integration using Azure DevOps


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to analyze requirements and design comprehensive test strategies

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications and REST Assured for API testing

  • Conduct automation code reviews and contribute to QA best practices

  • Implement and maintain test data automation processes

  • Integrate automated testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps

  • Support agile sprint cycles and deliver high-quality results within defined timelines

  • Continuously enhance automation frameworks and testing methodologies

  • Work effectively in globally distributed, cross-functional teams


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline

  • 4+ years of experience in Playwright-based automation for web and API testing

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript

  • Hands-on experience with relational database testing and validation

  • Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD implementation

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration abilities

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments


Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

  • Experience validating data across multiple platforms and interfaces

  • Exposure to ETL tools such as IICS, Informatica PowerCenter, or similar platforms

  • Ability to analyze complex data mapping documents and convert them into End-to-End (E2E) test cases

  • Knowledge of data profiling processes and ETL scheduler tools

  • Familiarity with performance testing tools
