About the Role
We are hiring an experienced QA Automation Tester with strong expertise in Playwright and TypeScript to join a high-performing technology team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in automation testing, CI/CD integration, API testing, and database validation within agile environments.
The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring software quality, reliability, and performance by designing and implementing scalable automated test frameworks and integrating them into modern DevOps pipelines.
Experience Required
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing
Minimum 4+ years of experience in relational database testing and validation
Proven experience working with Playwright and TypeScript
Experience in CI/CD pipeline integration using Azure DevOps
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to analyze requirements and design comprehensive test strategies
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications and REST Assured for API testing
Conduct automation code reviews and contribute to QA best practices
Implement and maintain test data automation processes
Integrate automated testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Support agile sprint cycles and deliver high-quality results within defined timelines
Continuously enhance automation frameworks and testing methodologies
Work effectively in globally distributed, cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
4+ years of experience in Playwright-based automation for web and API testing
Strong proficiency in TypeScript
Hands-on experience with relational database testing and validation
Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD implementation
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration abilities
Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience validating data across multiple platforms and interfaces
Exposure to ETL tools such as IICS, Informatica PowerCenter, or similar platforms
Ability to analyze complex data mapping documents and convert them into End-to-End (E2E) test cases
Knowledge of data profiling processes and ETL scheduler tools
Familiarity with performance testing tools
