Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Tester with strong expertise in Playwright and TypeScript to join a fast-paced technology team. This role is designed for professionals with proven experience in automation testing, CI/CD integration, API validation, and database testing within agile development environments.
The selected candidate will be responsible for building scalable automation frameworks, executing automated test strategies, and ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of enterprise-level software applications.
Experience Required
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing
Minimum 4+ years of experience testing relational databases
Strong practical experience with Playwright for web and API automation
Proven experience using TypeScript for test scripting
Experience working with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline integration
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with development and product teams to analyze requirements and create comprehensive test strategies
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright and REST Assured
Perform web application testing and API automation testing
Participate in automation code reviews and contribute to QA best practices
Support test data management and automation initiatives
Integrate automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Continuously enhance automation frameworks and testing methodologies
Work independently and within agile sprint cycles in globally distributed teams
Deliver high-quality results within strict project timelines
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
4+ years of experience in automation testing for web applications and APIs
Strong proficiency in TypeScript
Hands-on experience with relational database validation and testing
Experience with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous delivery
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience validating data across multiple data platforms and interfaces
Exposure to ETL tools such as IICS, Informatica PowerCenter, or similar solutions
Ability to interpret complex data mapping documents and convert them into End-to-End (E2E) test cases
Understanding of data profiling processes and ETL scheduler tools
Familiarity with performance testing tools
