Role Overview:
ICON is seeking an Investigator Payments Coordinator to join our India-based team in Chennai or Bangalore. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments to clinical trial investigators. You will act as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, supporting financial operations and contributing to the overall success of clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage investigator payments, ensuring invoices are reviewed, verified for accuracy, and compliant with contractual agreements and company policies.

  • Collaborate with clinical and finance teams to resolve payment discrepancies and queries promptly.

  • Maintain comprehensive financial records for audits and provide regular payment status updates.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance payment efficiency and investigator satisfaction.

  • Communicate with investigators and sites regarding payment procedures, addressing concerns professionally.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial coordination, payments processing, or related roles; experience in clinical research or healthcare sectors is preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a customer-focused approach.

  • Proficiency in financial software tools and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
